  [DavOchsner01.FTW] Mary worked for her brother Pauli Knaus who owned Knaus's Restau rant on Salina St., Syracuse. Jacob and Mary worked for Pauli i n a small hotel he owned in Plattsburg, New York. They moved bac k to Syracuse sometime in the 1920's where apparently their so n Paul learned something about anatomy at a local meat market wh ere he worked.
